A panel led by Anthony Julius (Deputy Chairman, Mishcon de Reya LLP) will consider Jack Thorne’s adaptation of Büchner’s Woyzeck in the context of 19th century modernism, culture and psychoanalysis, and consider its presentation of the darker side of human nature.
Panellists include Laura Marcus (Goldsmiths’ Professor of English Literature and Fellow of New College, Oxford), Joe Murphy (Woyzeck director) and Matthew Warchus (The Old Vic’s Artistic Director).
